Google Ads and conversion-focused landing pages for a downtown Boone boutique hotel, built to win more direct bookings and make booking performance easier to read.
The Horton Hotel is a boutique hotel in downtown Boone, North Carolina, with a small number of individually designed rooms and a seasonal rooftop bar. Ownership wanted a marketing partner focused on direct bookings who would protect the hotel’s refined, historic character along the way.
Online travel agencies and nearby lodging options compete for the same travelers. The hotel wanted to rely less on third-party booking platforms, bring more reservations through its own channels, and be able to scale paid advertising with a clear view of what that spend was returning.
We centered the plan on Google Ads, aimed at travelers already searching with clear intent to book. Campaigns emphasized what makes the property different instead of competing on price alone.
Paid traffic landed on pages built for one job: making the direct booking path obvious. Creative and budgets were adjusted through the year to follow seasonal demand, and the campaigns were refined continuously as booking data came in.
